Victor served as an army officer while earning his Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering. He received his Master of Science from MIT, where he researched human-machine interaction for NASA and taught product design and also management courses. Victor was inspired to start GeriJoy by his home-bound grandmother who developed depression. He's a member of The Gerontological Society of America and a recognized thought leader in senior care technology.

Shuo is a PhD candidate at MIT in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. With research experience from Microsoft and Qualcomm, and a variety of overseas development experience, Shuo is a seasoned expert in software, networks, and mobile systems. She brings her extensive skill set to GeriJoy, where she works on technology development, network architecture, and security — making the GeriJoy companion truly intelligent and compassionate.

Ben Chodor

Ben Chodor is co-founder of Happtique, a mobile health application store and app management solution that helps healthcare providers, physicians, and patients easily integrate mHealth into treatment. He hosts mHealth Zone, a weekly radio show that offers the latest on mHealth apps and technology, and is a mentor for Blueprint Health, a startup accelerator based in NYC. Ben is a pioneer in online communications, having spent his 25-year career merging the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and technology fields. Prior to Happtique, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Streaming & Virtual Events at InterCall. He also founded Stream57 in 2004 and sold the company to InterCall in January 2010. 

Dr. Joseph Kvedar, MD

Joseph (Joe) C. Kvedar is Founder & Director of the Center for Connected Health and a recognized visionary in his field. In 2010, Dr. Kvedar co-founded personal health technology company Healthrageous, where he is Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board. He is a certified dermatologist, Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School, past President and board member of the American Telemedicine Association, and board member of The Care Continuum Alliance. He is a mentor at Blueprint Health and Rock Health. Dr. Kvedar authors the popular cHealth Blog and co-edited Home Telehealth: Connecting Care within the Community, the first book to report on technology to deliver quality healthcare at home. He has authored 90+ publications. 

Mathew Farkash

Mathew Farkash is a Founding Partner of Blueprint Health, a TechStars affiliated seed accelerator that helps startups innovate in the healthcare services industry, and the Founder of the Blueprint Initiative, a membership-based community focused on new models of social impact and philanthropy. Mathew also helps start-ups across a variety industries with business development, sales and fundraising strategies. Previously, Mathew was an Associate Director in the Global Consumer Products and Retail Group at UBS Investment Bank and worked in business development. Mathew graduated from Brown University and received an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. 

Dr. Brad Weinberg, MD

Dr. Brad Weinberg is a Founding Partner of Blueprint Health, a healthcare focused accelerator, co-working space, and educational community. Prior to founding Blueprint Health, he founded and wrote the software for ShapeUp, a provider of evidence-based health interventions using social networking, gaming, and incentives to employers and health plans. Brad has served as a senior analyst at the Brown University Investment Office and worked at Decisions Resources and Goldman Sachs. Brad earned his MD from the Brown University Medical School and a B.A. in business economics from Brown University. He has passed all three levels of the CFA exam. He lives in New York where he trains for road races and triathlons, when he is not writing code and talking to entrepreneurs.
